Composition I

Composition I focuses on developing skills and critical thinking required for effective writing in a variety of contexts. This introductory course emphasizes exposition and argumentation and introduces students to research and information literacy skills necessary in the 21st Century. Credit toward graduation not allowed for ENGL 1101 and ENGL 1101H.Co-requisite: Students who do not meet the minimum placement requirements for ENGL 1101 are required to take ENGL 0999 as a corequisite.
