Description
This course covers detailed aspects of game species management in Georgia and North America as a whole. Topics vary with current issues affecting game species and manager decision-making. Content relies heavily on scientific literature to understand management concepts needed for sound decision making. Synthesizing past knowledge from prerequisite course material, current course lecture materials, and assigned reading content are important aspects of this course for building critical thinking skills in a challenging subject. This course is a communication intensive course that requires synthesis of multiple information sources into novel written documents and oral presentations. Spring Odd Years. Pre-requisite(s): FRSC 3280 with a minimum grade of C.
